The mandate for the project&#8217;s board was to advise the government on the future strategy for Iceland to increase the share of renewable energy and alternative fuels in addition to supporting and addressing the issue of energy conversion in land transport.<\/p>\n<p>A formal public-private partnership was formed in 2014 with a board consisting of four members from relevant ministries and four members of the business community.<\/p>\n<p>The current board (2022) of Gr\u00e6na orkan includes:<\/p>\n<h4><strong>On behalf of the government<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4>\u00c1sta \u00deorleifsd\u00f3ttir, Ministry of Transport and Local Government<\/h4>\n<h4>Erla Sigr\u00ed\u00f0ur Gestsd\u00f3ttir, Ministry of Industries and Innovation<\/h4>\n<h4>Helga Bar\u00f0ad\u00f3ttir, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources<\/h4>\n<h4>\u00cdris Hannah Atlad\u00f3ttir, Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs<\/h4>\n<h4><strong>On behalf of the private sector<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4>\u00c1g\u00fasta S.
